Global Distribution for Artisanal Excellence
At Heritage Craft House Ltd, we have optimized our supply chain to ensure that delicate, handcrafted decor reaches our global partners safely and efficiently. We manage everything from secure export packaging to international freight coordination.
1. Production & Lead Times
Because our products are handcrafted by master artisans, lead times vary based on order volume and complexity:
In-Stock Items: Dispatched within 3–5 business days.
Wholesale Orders: Typically require 4–6 weeks for production.
Bespoke/Custom Projects: Lead times are negotiated at the time of order based on the design requirements.
2. Shipping Methods
We offer flexible shipping solutions tailored to your business’s budget and urgency:
Sea Freight (LCL/FCL): The most cost-effective solution for large bulk orders. We support both Less than Container Load (LCL) and Full Container Load (FCL).
Air Freight: Recommended for high-value items or urgent restocking needs.
Courier Services: For samples and smaller boutique orders, we partner with DHL, FedEx, and UPS for door-to-door delivery.
3. International Trade Terms (Incoterms)
To ensure clarity in cost and risk, we primarily operate under the following Incoterms:
EXW (Ex Works): You arrange pickup from our facility.
FOB (Free on Board): We handle delivery to the port of origin and export clearance; you manage the ocean/air freight and final delivery.
DAP (Delivered at Place): We manage the journey to your specified warehouse (duties and taxes excluded).
4. Professional Export Packaging
Handicrafts require specialized care. Our logistics team utilizes:
Multi-layered corrugated cardboard.
Custom wooden crates for fragile stone, glass, or heavy wood crafts.
Moisture-absorbent silica gel packs to protect items during long sea voyages.
Eco-friendly biodegradable cushioning where possible.
5. Tracking & Documentation
Every B2B shipment is accompanied by a full set of professional documents to ensure smooth customs clearance:
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
Certificate of Origin
Fumigation Certificate (where required for wood products)
Once your order departs, you will receive a tracking number or the contact details of the assigned freight forwarder to monitor the shipment in real-time.
6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Please note that the Buyer (Importer of Record) is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and local customs fees in the destination country. We recommend consulting with a local customs broker to estimate these costs prior to placing a bulk order.
7. Inspection Upon Arrival
Upon receiving your shipment, please inspect the pallets/boxes before signing the delivery receipt. If any external damage is visible, please note it on the Proof of Delivery (POD) and contact our logistics team immediately.
